Singing Cirlce and Sound Bath
Susanne Diesner - Humming Meditation

Susanne’s work as a photographer for art and music shapes her way of listening. She is studying different branches of Buddhism since 1998 and she has been singing in bands since 1994. Her first vocal coach in 1996 was Ingeborg Reichelt (Deutsche Oper am Rhein). Other teachers were e.g. Stephanie Doll (Düsseldorf), Tsivi Sharett (London), Peter Zahn (Köln). Her interest in improvisation led to the production of her film “visiting improvisation” between 2011-2013. Yoga and meditation have been part of her life since 2000. Deepening her meditation practice and research on Buddhism and Hinduism along the way, she was initiated into Kundalini Yoga Meditation through Guru Paranjothi Sitarasu (Malaysia) in 2017. In 2019 she started to give humming meditation workshops e.g. at the coworking space Loretto 9, Weltkunszimmer and Kabawil e.V. in addition to private sessions. She has worked with groups of up to 60 people of all ages. At the moment she is taking classical Indian vocal lessons with Debasish Bhattacharjee (Anubhab Academy Cologne). In 2022 she had mentoring sessions with sound bath and sound healing practitioner Francesco Corallini (London) and mantra singer and vocal coach Maniko Dru Dadigan (Nevada). Vocal improvisation Workshops with Guillermo Rosenthuler followed. She feels affiliated to the Tilorien Monastery in Belgium and currently reads a lot about Neem Karoli Baba and Tibetan Buddhism while practicing the Kundalini Yoga Meditation technique of her teacher Guru Sitarasu.
